Janette Posavetz grew up on the Australian coast and loving sports; playing Tennis, Squash, Golf and Gymnastics. She began her career working in Resorts as an Activities Director and Assistant Manager, then moved into Personal training with a mission of educating and training people so they can be their healthiest. Since 1998 she has been living in New York City.
Janette holds a Diploma in Social Science (Recreation and Leisure), ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1 and Exercise Coach. She is also certified in Pre and Post Natal Fitness, Flexibility, Senior Fitness, Balance and Fall prevention.
She has been featured in Self, Shape and the New York Times. A consultant for pregnancy books and creator of Nutritional and Exercise inserts for Fitness equipment and a competitor in NOVA Fitness.
Janette has been my personal trainer for over 10 years. Janette has changed my way of life through her personal training techniques which are different to any other trainer I have ever worked with. Her workouts gave me strength both pre and post for three pregnancies. She gave me personal strength and assurance while trying to conceive my first two children and then guided me through my pregnancies with specialized pre-natal workouts. I trained with Janette up until the day I gave birth with all three pregnancies.
The most miraculous gift Janette has given me was helping me regain my body shape and pre-pregnancy weight within three months of giving birth.
